I grew up in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada. I started singing publicly at the age of twelve in choirs as a soloist. Then started participating in countless competitions travelling from event to event during the summer and school year to perform as much as I could.

At thirteen I won a competition which allowed me to co-write and recorded my very first song with music teacher, José Gauvreau (which was featured on a local CD compilation). Since then, music has taken major steps forward. At the age of sixteen I left home to attend the Canterbury Arts Vocal program in Ottawa. While in Ottawa I had the opportunity to perform solo at Parliament in the Senate, at the National Arts Centre, for CBC television on VE Day.

My debut CD Broken Vow was released on August 21, 2004 -the night of his Solo Concert at the Heliconian Hall, on Hazelton Lanes in Toronto. Corey performed to a select audience to celebrate the release of his debut CD.

In fall 2004 I caught the acting bug and began participating in musical theatre productions starting with "Freddy" in My Fair Lady for Canterbury Productions, then as "Harry Houdini and Willie Conklin" in Ragtime: The Musical presented by Encore Entertainment, and in summer 06 joined an outstanding cast as "Teen Angel" in Grease presented by Escape productions this summer.

Corey is currently in his second year of studies in music composition at York University in Toronto. He teaches piano and voice privately at the York Region Conservatory of Music in Richmond Hill.
